we had one in the summer in the early 2000s from fires in canada too. Just now it was strong enough that it smelled like the neighbors house was on fire.
Covered everything yesterday before i went to work, doubt ill have any issues but my luck with veggies hasnt been great. Hopefully the groundhog who steals my peppers every year froze to death lol
Now that i think about it….i dont think ive ever even been on main street in goshen. Which is kinda odd considering how much time ive spent in orange through the years at breweries wineries and friends parties etc.

Not near my house, but we were called, operated for a few hours. Was a legitimate fire storm for a few minutes, the old celery fields and cattails went up like gasoline.
