  1. Seems to be a problem with moderation. I wonder if any of them are sensitive souls. Bad words make people sad.
  2. And the vaccine won't change any of that. They're going to keep coming one after another. Remember the "flu" and "colds". How many of those colds were cornaviruses? Might as well try to lockup the boogeyman so small children can stop worrying about him too.
  3. It's amazing how badly some people want this to never end.
  4. That's my girlfriend's favorite drink. She adds a splash of pineapple juice though.
  5. Execute the unvaccinated and then burn their bodies to reduce exposure to everyone else.
  6. I take steps everyday to avoid risks too great to ignore. This...this one, just doesn't stack up. The virus kills obese, elderly and other folks with one foot in the grave. We're trying to chase a common cold. It never worked previously, it's not going to work this time either.
  7. I'm really hoping that more and more office work can shift to remote permanently. Between the advantages of reducing carbon emissions, less office buildings being needed and traffic.... these changes help out everyone. Let the people who have to drive to a physical location do so without being bogged down with traffic originating from people who don't need to be contributing to the congestion.
  8. Right. I have added substantial muscle mass to my body and find that BMI calculators are useless for me. I was 270 lbs. @ 6' 5" in 2015 I'm now 250 lbs. with about 25 lbs of more muscle.
  9. Run this: https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm If you come in with a BMI over 30 your in danger Anything under 25 and the chance of complications are probably close to winning the lottery.
  10. I was that guy once. If I got COVID in 2015 I bet it would be fatal.
  11. I saw an article where a 39 year old died. His nickname was "Big Mike" Unbelievable how linked this is with obesity. https://www.nbc12.com/2021/07/30/i-should-have-gotten-damn-vaccine-father-5-dies-covid-age-39/
  12. Virtually everyone I know who tested positive for COVID had a runny nose and a week of no taste or smell. They described it as a cold, but with a week long lack of those two senses. A big meh for the most part.
  13. Makes sense given the demographics.
  14. A lot of people realizing that they're mortal and are struggling to accept it. You get sick anytime after 80...you might be a goner. Covid101....along side every other infection
  15. California needs to perfect a carbon neutral desalination system before anymore growth is allowed. It's a dry climate today, it was a dry climate 200 years ago.
  16. Do you realize how few people die from this who don't have one foot in the grave already?
  17. There's zero risk to this demographic anyhow. Oh, before you mention kids spreading the virus to other more health sensitive populations, that's generally how all diseases spread. What's the threshold on how many deaths are too many? At some point we have get on with things.
  18. Do you even read other people's posts or do you skip right to mine. Besides the sarcastic shirtless selfie comment, where did I lead with a discussion on my physique? Warywarren was the one who dropped the first bomb and I told him to put up or shut up. The dude could have $100 sent to St. Jude with a simple pic and here we are 6 hours later with nothing.
  19. How do you say your political forum died without saying your political forum died?
  20. I'll Venmo a charity of your choice $100 if you post a pic of yourself. Full proof will be provided. Must include face and a reference object for height/size comparison.
  21. All this post over a silly pension. My pension plan includes security monitors and an app where I peek at my employees whenever I'm curious how the place is running. Pays more and the legacy costs won't bankrupt the city. Good for you little man.
