  1. How come North Dakota doesn't get too cold for snow....... Snow. Widespread blowing snow. Low around -9. Wind chill values as low as -35. Windy, with a north northwest wind 28 to 31 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible
  2. Too cold to snow here, just here, lol. Jim Cantore 1 hr · I’m sure it’s more often than I think, but how often do we see (outside the mountains) synoptic scale snow with below zero temps? Several observations from ND, SD, IA and MN have this. Obviously very high snow:liquid ratios
