    Looking pretty dry for the next 10 days for much of the DVN area. Have 0.12" for Feb here, so may finish with <0.25" of precip.

    MLI hit 66 today, DVN 65, hit 61 here. We're getting spoiled as this doesn't really feel that special/unusual anymore lol.

    Models are showing a 50 degree drop in high temps over much of Iowa between Tue-Wed next week. Around Des Moines they go from a high in mid 70s Tue, to a high in the mid 20s on Wed, with teens still holding on at midday. That would/will be a brutal slap in the face.

    What ever happened to Jackstraw? Noticed the last of the snowpack was around his area today in Indiana and it reminded me that he hasn't been around in a long time.

    Seems to happen every spring. This time of year we're desert-like with no vegetation and in this case dry top soil. Even the most aggressive models for warmth tend to low-ball.

    Take away the supercell/tornado threat last week and this may have been the most boring February I can remember. Hopefully March brings something of interest.

    Picked up 0.3" of snow here today. MLI had 0.6", DVN with 0.5"

    Looks like a dog turd duster tonight, and then nothing for the next 9+ days. Than god for the mid January stretch.

    Looks like a little cold rain tomorrow night and some flurries Fri morning. Other than that looks pretty quiet for next 10 days.

    Feeling really fortunate for that intense stretch of winter weather in mid January. Outside of that 13 day stretch we basically had no winter. Even though palmboy was a troll there's no doubt winter's are getting extremely wimpy, and apparently heading towards non-existent if trends continue.

    New record high at MLI today with 67 degrees, DVN hit 66. Hit 63 here. Spring fever in the air with towering cu building up and temps in the 60s.

    MSP now has ~48" less snow than this time last year. Talk about going from one extreme to the other, wow.
