  1. Trending in the other direction now. Looking pretty wussy at this point.
  2. Storm system next Tue/Wed looking interesting. Severe weather looking likely if trends continue.
  3. Today's 0.29" so far brings us up to about 1.7" for event. I'll take it.
  4. Looks like tonight's wave will underperform here but still overall nice event.
  5. 0.52" here so far. Should pick up another 1.5-2.5" through Tuesday. Heaviest looks to arrive Monday night.
  6. We've already had 8 freezes here including several hard ones. No first flakes in sight however.
  7. Seeing snow on the ground from vis for the first time this season. Welcome to November.
  8. Yeah this event was looking like a wimpy progressive sloppy second type setup for this area, so not too disappointed with the < half inch rain. SPC's 2% nader outlook for this whole area yesterday was lol worthy. Much better rains on the way for the Sun-Tue period.
  9. Pretty dramatic change to what we've been seeing the past 8 weeks.
  10. MLI tied the record high today with 84. Only got down to 67 last night/this morning here. As expected a lot of color was stripped from the trees the past few days. Now mostly oaks with the best color.
  11. Looking like widespread 40-50mph southerly winds on Wednesday ahead of the incoming cold front. That should make a big dent in what's left of the fall foliage.
  12. Nice soaker, picked up 1.13 with a few periods of pea size hail.
  13. 0.04" here this morning. The oaks have really turned in the past 2-3 days. They seem about 3 weeks early, as they are usually pretty late.
  14. Trees are definitely starting to turn much faster now. Many trees that were mostly green last week are fully turned already. The side yard tree here did this in just two days.
  15. We've had two hard freezes here but there's still a ton of bugs around. The ladybugs have gone apeshit over the past few days, worse than I've ever seen.
  16. Looks like Sante Fe around here. And we were one of the lucky ones a few weeks back to get over a half inch. Pretty sad two month stretch we have here.
  17. 24 here this morning. Growing season is toast.
  18. Only some frost was expected, but we ended up with a hard freeze at 28. Probably gonna dip below 25 tonight.
  19. Looks like a tenth or two of precip around the 22nd and then bone dry through halloween. Hopefully a real weather system arrives in November.
