  1. 3-day total was 1.66" 47 and running the heater on Mother's Day. You know we'll go straight to 90's in two weeks. It's very difficult for this region to do sunny and 60's/70's with calm winds (unless it's in winter ).
  2. @Roger Smith I'm not sure what you mean by dead links, but I remember I did have to delete a bunch of images stored in my account awhile back, because I was running out of space. Anyway, I have a copy saved on my PC so I attached it. Showme didn't win in 2019 though- tplbge did. You came in last.
  3. There have been no further changes to the data and no potential events on the models, so it's time to announce the winner: @IUsedToHateCold Congratulations! Attached is your trophy of snow and ice. I noticed you finished in the top ten last year as well, so you're one to watch! @RodneyS has agreed to run the contest next year- thanks again!
  4. December: F January: A+ February: F March: F I'll give it a B overall because January was so epic. Every other month was a shutout though. January had: -Biggest snow IMBY since HECS 2016, and 2nd biggest snowfall since I moved here -Snowiest month ever IMBY -First time since March 2014 that I had two WSW events in one month -Sustained cold and snowcover for nearly the entire month
  5. It's basically over, I just need to get everything together when I have time. So April 5 will be the official crowning,
  6. Still keeping this open as there's a greater-than-zero chance of snow later next week. I'd say probably by April 5 it'll be safe to call if there's nothing on the models, as the leaderboard is not close this year.
  7. 12/19: T 1/3: 9.3" 1/7: 1.4" 1/16: 1.0" 1/20: T 1/28-29: 5.0" 2/4: T 2/13: T 3/12: 0.1" Total: 16.8"
  8. Daily total: 1.63" Monthly total 3.49" This is how I know winter is over; we're back to the usual SoMD deluge pattern.
  9. Nothing's changed but here's the latest update adding 0.1" at DCA:
  10. You’re the first one on the list that doesn’t have a negative departure at any airport, so you’d be the biggest one to benefit if there’s somehow another region-wide event. Everyone else higher up has to root for tricky setups where somehow RIC gets blasted while everyone else gets screwed.
  11. Updated. This is a pretty solid lead now for @IUsedToHateCold
  12. The grass and cars are finally starting to cave. We might actually get a measurable event here!
  13. What you think all the salt is for? All-purpose war got the snow shovels by the door.
  14. I say this every year, but March is the windiest month.
  15. Just FYI, so you all have time to prepare: this will be the last year I'm holding the snowfall contest. After seven years now, I'm passing it onto someone else. Whomever wants to do it can use this same format, or change it up however they want.
  16. Light snow here while the sun is shining.
