Ocean City was nice... in the 90's. Lots of good childhood memories there. Last time we were in OC was 2013 and we decided never to go back, it had really gone downhill even then. Rehoboth is still great though! I haven't been to Virginia Beach since I was a little kid, and am wondering what it's like now. We were thinking of going there next year.

Raining hard here now, overnight was an additional 0.5” so we should be getting past 1” for the system total easily.

I don’t follow MLB at all, but my soon-to-be 98-year-old grandmother has been a die-hard Orioles fan all her life, watches every game, etc. She keeps hoping they’ll win one more world series in her lifetime. Skimming through the comments in here, I’m guessing that’s not happening anytime soon. I wanna try to get someone from the team to sign something for her when she turns 100 though.

My new favorite app is MapQuest- this seems to work as well as Google maps. I remember the days of printing MapQuest sheets out for college and work trips, so I’m enjoying the revival.

That storm track looks so unusual over central MD, almost due south.

Thunder just woke us up. I checked radar and it’s an isolated storm just around here. Nothing else within hundreds of miles. Rain magnet still working well I see.

I love how after planting this, the heatwave appears on the long range. I wonder if the opposite can work in winter; I may be able to score us a late season snow, if I do this right. I'm planting a bunch of spring annuals this February.
