I think this one won't be a false start and that we might have an active 2 week period for the country starting this weekend.

I do worry about lifting the indoor restrictions because people will just say they are vaccinated when they aren't. Thankfully places that tend to be crowded will still keep their mandates in place. Outside though the guidance does show its time to lose the masks, which is good for sporting events outside and student athletics.

Nothing tops this state and specifically SEMI which in June will hit 6 years since there was a tornado watch.

Interestingly enough this was discussed elsewhere, and over the last month the 500mb chart comparison, Euro/GDPS/Ukie all are doing better than the GFS. It has fallen below those 2 models even, this upgrade has been a substantial downgrade. You can tell because all you need to do is compare to its own ensembles, and how the op is almost always wildly different by day 7.

You live in one of a few counties in the country to have a F5 tornado, just because it hasn't happened in a long time doesn't mean it can't again. Complacency in this state is going to get people killed when we do actually get a real tornado outbreak again.

Some just looking for something to complain about. There is a very large change coming and May should be very active.

It is sticking here to the rooftop and the grass, started to stick once we got below 3/4SM about an hour ago. Had this been coming at dark like originally expected we'd already probably have a couple inches.
