The 15th at 12z was always my date to start looking for real opportunities or for the "pattern" to not be real....gut feel is the 12z runs today show a nice hit or two in the near future

Two days ago the euro had San Diego at 10 degrees and the gfs has had a different solution every run and some on here are still shaking in their boots over the 6z gfs? I mean I'm an idiot and even I can tell the models are working their way towards something and are a few days away from any sort of consistency

What happened to letting this storm pass to see how it affects next week and beyond? This is a pretty big beast I'm sure it's messing with the models performance down the road

Loudoun is the same way there's no way kids in Ji's hood in eastern Loudoun should get off school because it snowed or iced in western Loudoun

My own personal timeframe for when I hope to see some solid chances showing up on the op runs is the 15th. If the cold and the little sn don't start showing up with some consistency at that point then for me...that is the first real sign we might be in for a challenging winter
