  1. GFS sticking to its guns that its going to get cold again. We shall see. On its side I will say that the heat miser models seem to have been over done a bit with the upcoming warm streak. Noting see a ton of support for well into the 90's anymore. Not over yet....looking at today's runs.
  2. Highs in the upper 40's in Central VA. GFS extremes in play.
  3. GFS still muting the heat and brings sweet rain to the LSV over the weekend. Icon jumped in on the rain bandwagon. #boutagainstthedrought2021
  4. I forgot about him. Just looked him up and Wikipedia has a lot of unfortunate news about him. Not going to post it here but he has had a tough time of it.
  5. I figured America's Team had enough press already today. I could think of a lot others but not sure any of them are in the spot light like the two Carlisle guys. Donyell Marshall, Sean Mutto, Kyle Brady, Marquise Colston.
  6. Benny Montgomery. Good to have some rep's for big time players from the area. Still think Jeff Lebo and Billy Owens rank up with Shady McCoy as the most famous. Chase Edmonds is up there.
  7. The most intensely watched 8-8-1 ever! Bring back Tony Romo and it will be 24/7 Cowboys.
  8. This is all the proof I need You guys are getting so much snow that you schedule softball tournaments around it. Apparently home plate is the also the snowboard for measurements.
  9. Thing is that it could be 95 and dry for three weeks straight in Dallas but since its happening to the Cowboys, ESPN will cover it as front page news.
  10. HRRR has LSV staying under 80 today but cracking tomorrow (like Canderson's predict).
  11. I am just west of you so I get it first. Trainingtime already pointed out that a week or two ago as he scored as well You just missed your snow. Planning your Florida trip or something :-)
  12. They say Yee Haw while doing it as well. Punks (except Canderson's family)
  13. GFS and CMC are .25 to 1"" over you this weekend. Euro and Icon still pretty dry for the LSV. Differences in where the outer ring of the ridge sets up. Ridge heads toward OK to dissipate on the GFS. Verbatim the Euro keeps trying to push the heat in but it only lasts a day or two and is pushed back more than once.
  14. Nice 45 degree AM. Euro backing down to the GFS, for now, in showing back door cooling limiting any coming heat to transient type.
  15. Another turnover cost them. Ugh
  16. Lots of failed clears and sloppy passes made the Caps work harder than they should have. They almost got away with it.
  17. One good thing about this week is the ultra comfortable night temps for at least the first few nights. Fans and windows open!
  18. Dude, if there is not a Hurricane or severe they just call in a forecast and hope for the best. We spend more time agonizing over the NWS being off by 5 degrees on any given night than the weather nerds down there spend worried about that stuff over a months time. LOL. To them the Nam is a cute nickname for a grandmother.
  19. We got to 70. Pretty much spot on what was progged (for once!)
  20. CMC, GFS and Icon all have precip moving DOWN the coast, from New England, this weekend. Interesting depiction to see as the moisture goes up and over the ridge which is pushed into the Central US. Icon is a bit off shore. Retrograding SLP moving West from the Atlantic.
  21. 12Z GFS still keeps the temps fairly decent through next 10 days. Some rain as well.
