  1. Well, I was talking "current" hosts re: RIP.
  2. So Aaron is the CMC of the show? Everyone else is just like the Euro or GFS trying to catch the king.
  3. I feel personally responsible for your grass now.
  4. CMC is definitely hotter than GFS, Still a bit jumpy. Fortunately it still has a nice dose of qpf for Training. More late week than early like GFS. Good example of the jumpiness in that it lowered the early week qpf from 0z.
  5. Break out the coats. (We know it will change though)
  6. 12Z GFS says to jump aboard the rain train though it does not get going in earnest until late next week vs. early. Some rain Mon, Tue and Wed but more significant waits until Friday.
  7. Anecdotal comment....I have been to Heinz once to see a Steelers/Cowboys preseason game. It was years ago but they had giant Ketchup bottle which would do something, maybe turn to the side like it was pouring, when the Steelers go in the "red zone". I have neve been able to shake that image when I put Ketchup on something. Sometimes I hum the accompanying music while doing it.
  8. Not finding a lot of concrete evidence that ranks all the models together...that is also current. Maybe someone else has something? Most anecdotal web sites I found ranked it Euro, CMC, GFS but they did not discuss the UK. Location of fronts and areas of pressure have more input I believe than the apparent weather we worry about in the end. I found charts but they were all 90 day type things. The GFS was pretty much last in all charts I saw but some were before the change to the "Fv3".
  9. If we can get 1/2" a week I would be happy.
  10. I thought the CMC was 2 or 3 of of 6 or 7? My "hot take" is that the CMC/Icon/GFS jump around a bit more than the Euro but the Euro is just as incorrect albeit not as flashy of failures. Will have to look up the verifications now. LOL
  11. CMC and Icon bring the rains (heavy!) late weekend/early Monday but GFS is still wanting to lessen the chances.
  12. 51 here as well. Doors and windows open!
  13. Coolness has penetrated all the way in here. Down to 69. HRRR suggests some of Lanco get down into the 40's tonight. 35-40 degree difference from mid day.
  14. You have that sweet easterly wind bringing in cool temps it seems. Still 82 here.
  15. Just not seeing where this is modeled but maybe you are making a forecast? Even the hotplate EC is low 60's and 70's for Monday and Tuesday at MDT.
  16. I think we are headed into a very wet period starting in 3-4 days and lasting for a bit.
  17. 85 here. Check out NE MD and adjoining PA. 10-15 degrees cooler.
  18. 81 here around 1:20 with A/C pouring it on. Might not make 90 here today.
  19. That Monday EC deluge is still there. It tapers off quickly in Western PA though so not sure where you are actually, located.
  20. GFS definitely trended back on its rain but still think some see rain this weekend and then again Monday/Tuesday. Its a beaut this Am. Started at 55 when I got up....up to 58 now.
