  1. Just walked outside and its not shorts weather right now...at least not for sitting out. 52 and a brisk wind. Feels great though for walking and doing stuff.
  2. I will have them on this Saturday. 65+, if wind is not terrible, is short weather. This weekend looks like a great one to get out and take some walks.
  3. Sticky but I am ok with it if the temp is 65-70. The drier patter is worrisome. The full GFS run has that ring of dry/Atlantic High look to it. I will still have to wear pants at home M-F either way. LOL.
  4. GFS veered a little toward the Euro hot house forecast. GFS would be more than acceptable with a few days in the 60's and a few in the 70's (next week). Keep those 80's away is my opinion. Water Temp at OC MD is 55 so going to be a chilly Memorial day for swimming unless one likes upper 50's to 60ish water...but pretty normal for this time of the year.
  5. 34 and frost on the roof. No vegetation issues here.
  6. GFS is warmer than the last few days but stays mostly 60's for highs in the LSV. Maybe some late day 70 touching but GFS had a much wamer look a few days ago so not sure. I did just look at the EC and its a good 10 degrees warmer pretty much each day. EC is summer time.
  7. Hmm, is that from the EC? I was going to post that GFS has delayed the warmup until the following week. Did not look at the EC.
  8. My stats are mostly shockers and odd balls. I have no idea how much rain I had last week. LOL
  9. The high on Christmas eve was warmer than any of the last 5 days at MDT.
  10. Wearing shorts in meetings is asking for trouble on my side. Just crossing my legs shows my pants. I do not do the face view...they can see down to my desktop. They would be able to see my pants if not for the top of my desk.
  11. Yea, some on here said they worse shorts but those warm days were weekdays when one has to dress up even if WFH (for meetings). I have only been able to wear shorts a couple times this whole season. Always seemed to be cold on the weekend though this weekend looks promising for shorts.
  12. Cloud and a chilly 51 at 2:30. Trough causing what looks like (on radar) lake effect rain over LSV.
  13. It's downright nice out. I just went out for the sole purpose of getting gas so I can avoid lines later....and was surprised how good it felt.
  14. A lot better than it was below zero a bit over a year ago.
  15. I want mine to say NAM on the little house inside of it.
  16. That free pass exists now. Did you mean for this post to be show in the MA? :-)
  17. I just noticed the last few days of NAM runs suggest a freeze watch may be needed WED am.
  18. We will be only a couple months from being back to normal at that point (per Fauci)
  19. The same info I am looking at does show February as averaging the most snow at 9.4" vs. 9.1 for January. Well when I say average it says normal. March is a distant third at 5.6 and Dec is 4.4.
  20. I think so as well but I hear it a lot on the boards in general. Not this one as much as others. It usually starts when the LR models do not show a great January...the "February is when we score big anyway" talk starts.
  21. FWIW, MDT normal at this point would dictate ~13.85" so you are about 1.5" behind normal at MDT. Not too bad. Also an interesting tidbit. It's a common theme that our "big snows" are always in February. February is by far the driest month of the year, on average, at MDT, by almost 1/2" vs. the second driest which is December.
  22. I failed you with my enthusiasm. Model reader hex on me.
  23. Yes, I did not want to copy the whole thing but those are the low records at MDT for Jan -May on those days. I suspect lots of local stations hit those numbers Tue and Wed night but agreed the concrete jungle MDT is unlikely. We are bringing in some tender plants until late week.
