GFS has no frosty mornings through out. Still not overly warm though. Some low 70's a few days next week (Tue-Fri) then back into a more marine like 50's and 60's for highs and 40's for lows. It seems that this season each time the GFS suggest the heat is here for good, it backs down. Eventually the heat will be here for good....I guess? CMC is MUCH hotter. 90's next weekend.

I had read one of them was showing signs of something but regardless the public thinks the vaccines mean you are close to immune because that is how it is presented in the news sometimes. We all know they are not perfect but I thought that many players getting it was fairly high amount and really not much different than if they were not vaccinated. As Canderson said maybe the real answer here is that their issues were lessened by the vaccine.

Seriously? 36 here as well and just a hint of frost but not as much as yesterday.

So 7 Yankees have Covid and 6 were fully vaccinated with the JNJ vaccine. That is pretty big news.

Wow, we only got to 60 today and its already down to 48 with a DP of 34. Still think we avoid frost with those DP's though. Temp differences have been fairly extreme this spring. We have elevation but a 10-15 degree difference is pretty big.

EC drops a 2" bomb on Pitt next week so still something to watch for the LSV in that area of moisture does not minor out as much as forecasted.

When we run out of gas the lack of mowing may be helpful. Do I need to wear my mask while mowing or only if my neighbor is not vaccinated? In all seriousness, the GFS at 12Z looks a lot like last May but a couple weeks later.

Bit surprising as the HRRR DP's are well below the forecasted lows. Guess they are counting on the models under forecasting valley cold spots. The low DP's saved us here last night as there was not much moisture formation depute being near freezing.

Just walked outside and its not shorts weather right now...at least not for sitting out. 52 and a brisk wind. Feels great though for walking and doing stuff.

I will have them on this Saturday. 65+, if wind is not terrible, is short weather. This weekend looks like a great one to get out and take some walks.

Sticky but I am ok with it if the temp is 65-70. The drier patter is worrisome. The full GFS run has that ring of dry/Atlantic High look to it. I will still have to wear pants at home M-F either way. LOL.

GFS veered a little toward the Euro hot house forecast. GFS would be more than acceptable with a few days in the 60's and a few in the 70's (next week). Keep those 80's away is my opinion. Water Temp at OC MD is 55 so going to be a chilly Memorial day for swimming unless one likes upper 50's to 60ish water...but pretty normal for this time of the year.

GFS is warmer than the last few days but stays mostly 60's for highs in the LSV. Maybe some late day 70 touching but GFS had a much wamer look a few days ago so not sure. I did just look at the EC and its a good 10 degrees warmer pretty much each day. EC is summer time.

Hmm, is that from the EC? I was going to post that GFS has delayed the warmup until the following week. Did not look at the EC.

The high on Christmas eve was warmer than any of the last 5 days at MDT.

Wearing shorts in meetings is asking for trouble on my side. Just crossing my legs shows my pants. I do not do the face view...they can see down to my desktop. They would be able to see my pants if not for the top of my desk.

Yea, some on here said they worse shorts but those warm days were weekdays when one has to dress up even if WFH (for meetings). I have only been able to wear shorts a couple times this whole season. Always seemed to be cold on the weekend though this weekend looks promising for shorts.

Cloud and a chilly 51 at 2:30. Trough causing what looks like (on radar) lake effect rain over LSV.

It's downright nice out. I just went out for the sole purpose of getting gas so I can avoid lines later....and was surprised how good it felt.

A lot better than it was below zero a bit over a year ago.
