  1. Pretty impressive cell formation in Central and Eastern LSV today. Made it to 92 here and I think that will probably be peak. Could be the highest temp I see for quite some time. Hope I can get a little of what Paw Paw is seeing right now.
  2. I am a Sox Fan back to the 80's so not trendy but there are a LOT of stuck up, know it all Red Sox fans. I doubt you have ever seen me be too rude to any specific team on here beyond pointing out times when my favorite may have bested them. We are all humans and I hope to never be looked at as a Red Sox fan vs. a fan of sports who roots for the Red Sox.
  3. "Could" be interesting tomorrow yet as that front is being pushed so far south now its allow the SLP over Northern PA the chance of a more southward progression and put the LSV into a better position to get under its outer circulation as it pulls away. Maybe some sun inspired pop up cells.
  4. It really made it satisfying when the Boy's would win and Howard had to give props to Jody Mac. I think those Eagles and Cowboys teams were more cohesive and a real rivalry. These days the players shuttle in and out more.
  5. Yea....both today (which I think its underdone and someone down here gets some rain today) and 10 days.
  6. Man, I wish I could feel good about it and am not poo pooing it, but I would prefer if any model showed a more appreciable event here. They have all been in reverse for a couple days now. I do not think an guidance shows a scenario like that for the LSV. (Maybe the CMC and Icon)
  7. LOL, no problems. I know you are Philly centric. I was a Phillies fan growing up but sort of gravitated to the BoSox in the 80's. My dad was in the military so I picked up teams as we moved around. Living in Philly for 10 years I am quite familiar with the 90's Philly teams and the announcers down there. Jody MacDonald, Howard Eskin, Angelo Catladi etc... I used to really dislike Philly teams but not so much any more.
  8. Damn front runner fans. :-). Cowboys-Red Sox-Capitals-Mavericks. I lived a lot of places growing up.
  9. 6Z GFS more or less kicking the can down the road on summer until August...frequent nights in the 50's for PA.
  10. 66 here this Am. Yanks and Sox game was allowed to go on but Yanks still did not show up. Edit-EC has little to no precip making it to the LSV today.
  11. HRRR has been broadcasting M/D line all day. Random winners. Have to say though that the short terms models did not forecast the line going through the LSV right now.
  12. We have only had about 1.5" of rain in the last 40 days or so. A Have Not. Just 20 miles North of me and they have had 5-6" just this month. We are officially in drought but we won't be listed because the square mile area where it is taking place is too small even for a little yellow dot. One of the USGS employees lives in Hagerstown and I have the pleasure of communicating with him.
  13. Radar Estimated going for close to 1.2" now near Hershey.
  14. The southern of the two areas took control and is actually fairly vigorous right now. Probably going to see some .5 to 1" reports out of it.
  15. On the ground report that Red Robin in Colonial Park is getting the goods. The worst part about that is one of my friends is enjoying unlimited fries and I am not. LOL
  16. I am thinking we cloud up over here earlier tomorrow and it keeps temps in the 90-93 area. You guys might go for 100 worst case! Hard to find a day it does not rain in or around Harrisburg.
  17. We made it to 97 but have retreated to 93 as some clouds have come into play. Lots of 97-99's in Franklin on Wundermap. Chance today is the hottest day we have until 2022. I said chance....if it gets hotter again. LOL.
  18. I read that heatwave in 1988 killed between 5000 and 10000 people nationwide. 2-5x the death toll for 9/11.
  19. Agreed though if anyone does (before dark), you have the best chance. I do think some in the LSV see some random showers overnight.
  20. That line coming through Western PA right now looks like the real deal but everything I looked at has it shrinking to the N/E before doing much damage in the LSV.
  21. I was in Philly in the Mid 90's so was not around here to remember but checked the NWS stats and the highest Min MDT recorded in recent times was 81 in August 2011. So probably more localized if Mid 80's. They did have a day, July 1995, where it got down to 80 for a Max Min. The record is August 9th 1900 @ 83. In 1991 MDT was over 100 3 out of 5 days late in July.
  22. The stat is extreme heat. Bring in the homeless type stuff.
  23. 96 here now. Today will end up being one of our hottest days this year. 32 degree jump from this AM.
