  1. MDT made it to 78. So very close like you said. You still get credit for holding on your call as several models were faster with the front.
  2. Either way, you were right...its going to be closer than it initially looked (Susq and east).
  3. @Itstrainingtime with the coup if this temp field is up a few degrees from what it says. Next hour is down 10 degrees. This is at noon from the HRRR.
  4. Part of me is trying to make it seem a bit better. Always trying to fix (the unfixable sometimes.)
  5. 62 here this AM. 67 at MDT. Would have easily crushed the record of 64, as MJS was alluding to, without the evening low temp coming later today.
  6. Down in OT they are doing a survey on how to pronounce your town name.
  7. Yep, very similar. Not a big line but seems a fast shot of severe.
  8. Both HRRR and 3K are near 130 to 2 so close.
  9. Could be quite the squall like line over your way tomorrow afternoon...if at home.
  10. It's 67 here brah. Cheap housing. Come on over. Will have to learn to like Applebees. Lol
  11. Yea, a lot of us have stories from the last 10-20 years. It seems the same group just keeps on keeping on, even if from different boards along the way. I know one poster here is fairly new but overall I would bet 30 to 50 percent of the posters forum wide were here during ne.weather Usenet groups and have hung on for the next 20 to 25 years. Back then many were in the 20 and 30's but now it just seems more rarer. Anyone reading from any age group, not breaking bad....just observations. My daughter is in her 30's and she told me she has never met anyone who enjoys following the weather except people my age. She looks at it like it's an old age thing. Lol. Andrew is a once in a life event!
  12. I guess that is what I meant in some manner though I personally know no one under 35 who could care less about the GFS. LOL. There are a few on here that I have not met. Lots of millennials in the OT area from what I read.
  13. I remember some kind of roll call several years ago and I think most were 45-50 and up at that point. At least those willing to give their ages. Most millennials could care less about following weather. I only know of one guy younger than you that posts here fairly regularly. Sure there are at least 1 or 2 others who did not reveal. Not sure of Candersons age though. He acts 22 or 72 depending on the topic and how close he is to his beer fridge.
  14. You might be one of the youngest here. A bunch were watching their children in high school in 2002.
  15. Down to 77 here as the clouds are quite thick now. Some cells just off to the west of Franklin County. Feels much better than 3-4 hours ago. Fingers crossed this is the warmest day until April next year. One of (if not the) warmest Octobers to this point but no records broken/tied with MDT not getting to 84 today (82).
  16. Looks pretty ugly all through the NE tomorrow. Rain could be starting in the LSV 10amish.
  17. We did here as well. 2:30PMish. Its back down to 79 now. MU hit 83 briefly back down to 82 now. MDT at 81.
  18. Been waiting to see if anyone would post it.
  19. MDT at 80 as well. They had a 5 degree jump the previous hour but only 1 this hour. 84 the record for them. Thought someone said MU was 86? DP's in the mid 60's throughout. Cap City is always high. Their lows are higher than MDT quite often.
  20. Either way, it feels really sticky out. First time I feel it has felt this bad in a week or more. 78 here. Clouds still lowering (partly to mostly cloudy) so its still going to be a close call for 80. Not going to go up much from here with only an hour or two left of heating.
