42 here now but no where near as cold as the other side of the mountain where there are mid 30's, Its 35-36 degrees within 45 min of MDT right now.

I think most people associated with colleges are waking up this AM happy they have no affiliation with the University of Tennessee.

Near record cold for the MDT "Area" in a week on the GFS

MDT should be close today. HIA in full effect like usual. 3-5 degrees warmer than all the other reporting stations nearby. This excludes Cap City which is always higher than anyone else it seems. MDT coming in higher than BWI. Its currently 48 degrees at Dulles and 55 at MDT. Sheesh.

It was colder at this point on Sep 30th than it is now. MDT has 2-3 shots at hitting 70 next week.

KY punched one in. If GA can avoid an upset at the swamp, they look prime to go unscathed until the SEC championship. Kentucky's defense looking pretty good. I think they are a top ten 10 team.

GA v Ky one of the games of the year. Does GA show they deserve #1? And Florida an embarrassment today. About .4" of rain here and still raining a bit.

MDT made it to 78. So very close like you said. You still get credit for holding on your call as several models were faster with the front.
