Definitely seems a bit behind. This map is not elevation specific though as about 25% of my leaves have already fallen here.

Oh, its great out 10 days. The GFS thing was days 13-15 and outside the Euro's domain. 10 days out you are in the low 30's on the GFS.

Before you get too upset, I present to you the high temps in 1998. DECEMBER 1998. It can always be worse plus it is super fantasy land. As I said before, I have lots of memory's of sweating in my Halloween Captain America or He-Man Mask.

Low to mid 70's for a few days....after a cold snap of highs in the 40's or near 50.

@TimB84, the end of the GFS is truly an aberration as it pertains to what weather should be. Its super fantasy land though. Not really close to any high records as MDT has done Mid 80's in November before, but still warm. https://www.noaa.gov/news/september-2021-was-earths-5th-warmest-on-record

Down to 56 last night. Up to 58 now. Feels good. Doors open. MDT got to 62 and just missed the Friday record by 2 degrees. Still a chance there is some rain today that may spoil highs. Going to be close. May stay just west and north of the LSV. Models are also down a couple to a few degrees across the board as to highs today.

Tower climbing? It is brutal in that thing if windy and 50-55 degrees.

This solidifies that Thursday is a non 80 day. Pillow fell short. Wonder how Coffin Rock did.

630 and already down from 75 to 66. Good sign that its not really summer anymore despite how it feels.

NOAA throws the MA forum under the bus...all good here.

MDT is showing 77 though they could have had an inter hour 78. Looking at 18Z runs I am punting on MDT having a high temp on Sat. So in my opinion it is tomorrow or bust for an 80. Though tomorrow seems likely and that 84 record is in play.

If Pillow does not reach 80, any other observations are moot. You are the prospective new record keeping spot if we can get it out of the HIA @ MDT.

75 and sun here. Probably not going to go much higher for me. Our holder of the records, MDT, is 77.

LOL. Not at all trying to correct just remembered myself since Midnight highs have killed many record colds as well.

68 nooners here. Looks like today will be a no go for 80 here. Tomorrow will be the best chance and it could be close. Sat will depend a lot on timing but seems less likely to me.
