  1. At least not since they learned how to make soccer balls lace free :-)
  2. This pretty much jives with the current look of LR models which show a less "Indian summer" like pattern in 10 days or so.
  3. Not at all. Its October 8th. LOL. But I do have some experience in said sport so thought I would help anyone who is going to give it a try.
  4. Remember, its best to hold the laces up when punting.
  5. I will have to pepper will into my convo more often.
  6. I am going to opine that I think around mid month, or a day or two after, we see some variability and some more "crisp" type evenings. It would be a pattern change at least in the aspect of some troughs rotating over us even if transient.
  7. After next week, the whole county goes in a mix of a ridgy/cross continental flow but the results are not hot...just not cold either. So some fall like weather just not winter.
  8. Will is a strong word when playing the weather model game (or weather game in general.)
  9. That is one of the recent tragedy's for me...the days of the GFS leading the way being a positive seem more limited now.
  10. I was looking at the quick elimination of that moderately deep trough; instead amping up the Central ridge.
  11. The 'Boys are so good, they are releasing top level players because they have too many on their roster. (Jaylon Smith)
  12. Yep...or like watching your team get the ball in the 4th quarter, down 21, and calculating in your head how they can come back. FYI, the EC takes Deutch marks or dollarsAmerican Express will also do nicely, thank you
  13. 58 this Am with a low of 56 earlier. Sat still looks mainly dry for the LSV with 60's for highs and just a scattered shower or two. Sat night into Sun looks a bit wetter.
  14. Yea, the ring rule is ringdiculous. They should paint clowns and numbers on the rings as well as have stuffed animals available for the brave few that make it.
  15. Some prefer to get going with a nooner and see if they can hold out for a happy EC ending. It's frequently just a tease and waste of time.
  16. So just saw an interesting stat. Days in first place this season for AL East teams O's-8 Yanks-1
  17. Light rain/heavy drizzle and 67 here now. Enough to need the wipers on.
  18. Quickie evening model runs have started. Nam still promises some Sat rain to some in the LSV. Just not a lot. Dying ULL transfers over to a new SLP off the SE Coast which retrogrades and vacillates after transfer. Nooners EC had scattered LSV rain both Sat and Sun with Sun before more S/E focused.
  19. I think much of that can also be associated with precip amounts in the month or two leading up to fall. Over here I am already having to mulch/chop the leaves falling. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/drought-and-climate-change-could-throw-fall-colors-off-schedule/
  20. Lots of things can happen in the afternoon....model runs, "other stuff", etc...
