He is out of Met now. Got into a profession where he can make $$$$ in real estate. He basically copied what Jim from The Office did.

My dad was in the military so I grew up all over. A lot in Central PA though. Did not move to Philly until my 20's. Herb was still there when I moved to Philly but he retired not long after my move. I remember John Bolaris. Philly ran him out on a rail after a bad storm prediction. In Philly you either win or move on.

I do remember Harrisburg always being the warmest or second warmest city in the state even when I lived in Philly. Of course the 'Burg is cooler in certain situations but during heat waves and such it could be 96 in Philly and LNS and the 'Burg is punching 100. I think Philly officially holds the highest average yearly temp though they have plenty of HIA there as well.

Everyone beats Thomasville now since they have been down for weeks. I just noticed LNS coming in with a 46 8AM Ob! That is pretty chilly. Ob says Fog.

Its the most above and below average location in PA. A combo of the warmest and coolest towns in the state. Harrisford....or Bradburg. Puts Coffin Rock to shame.

Yea, contribute to the group effort! I do not have the fancy equipment you do or I would be. I used my neighbors station to watch historical stuff.

46 here right now. Low of 44. HRRR suggest similar highs to yesterday. Mid 70's for the higher folks. Upper 60's to low 70's for the cooler.

MU is acting a bit weird. They have gone from 76 to 73 back up to 74 then 75 (on their web site) in the last 30 min.

MDT has been stuck at 74 for hours. Definitely hit a cap today as heating is about done. It made it to 69 here but heading down now. The wind made it feel much cooler. (edit I see they had an inter-hour creep up to 75)

Euro is much more south (ala GFS) with the SLP.

It just did not hold to the 7 straight days under average the GFS had. All due to its 4-5 state low positioning difference.

The PAWeather inland Cut Off 540 line.

It did not get the name King CMC for being wrong all the time. Like all the other models, it seems to get hot for periods...surely related to atmospheric conditions it is better suited to gauge. CMC was FAR superior in gauging temps this past Spring. I would go with the GFS/Icon combo for SLP location though....

The CMC very much disagrees. HIA 80's as the SLP is 4 states north of the GFS. Tie breaker? Icon is more like GFS. CMC would feature board members running for the ledges though the cool weather does eventually return.

MDT squeezes off 7 days in a row of below average temps starting Sat...on the 12Z GFS.

64 and windy at noon. 15 sustained with gusts over 20. HIA areas in the low 70's...others mid to upper 60's.

12Z Nam and HRRR both suggest 70-75 for the LSV today and tomorrow. So I am going to guess 74 at MDT today and 76 tomorrow. Friday stays in the 50's at MDT and Sun the 40's (on the Nam).

The Carlisle/Camp Hill/Capital District beats MOS guidance and NWS Zones by 4-8 degrees most sunny days now.

It will be interesting if we ever find out what is going on. NWS and all models understate your temps almost every day. Forecasts are fine in most areas away from the I81/I83 corridor close to the Burg. You guys should be be tying or beating DCA every day. LOL. HRRR says you get low 70's today.
