There is the Horseshoe in Altoona as well? I have already been wrong enough this month so going to off load those forecasts to someone else. LOL. Not forecasting PSU games.

The Shoe House near York? LOL. I do not know what the shoe is but lets go with decreasing clouds with Temps between 47 and 52 except 56 at Cap City and MDT.

And since this was such a convo topic, Nooners GFS suggests scatted wetness Saturday...more Harrisburg and North/East on this run. Not a wash out by any means.

Nooners Rgem suggests Saturday is mostly a light rain day. Wet most of the day but not a wash out. If I had an outdoor event scheduled for Saturday I would definitely think there is going to be some wetness.

Nooners Nam definitely suggests its going to be a tough forecast this weekend....it jumps the lowest level of pressure location more than 5 times during the run. Cannot really blame it on convection either.

Nut, He is saying most of the rain comes on Friday. Sat and Sun still could be showery at times per models.

Yea, trick or treating was always on a weekday in the PA communities I lived...and Virginia. No weekends. In Florida it usually is the 31st regardless.

Warmest month update.... MDT average temp sitting at 63.6/+6.8 now...a steady drop from the 65's last week. Assuming 2007 is the warmest October, 62.0/+6.2 is the number to "beat" if this is to come in as the warmest October. Looking at forecasted temps, the average will keep dropping as it looks like a lot of 55ish averages coming up.

MDT was not reporting 76 last evening when I last checked. I just double checked what I had. An MDT special. All quiet about it on their twitter though. I heard the wind at hole 19 is not as bad.

So MDT revised and they did set a record yesterday. They are having a lot of problems with their temp readings.

@TimB84, assuming you are not in Mexico yet. My 5-7 days at MDT is not going to come to fruition. The lows are indeed going to get me...that and two days where MDT recorded exactly normal. If I had scored those two days I would still be in the running.
