My dad was convinced that whoever his local forecaster of choice was, who said 12-18", was right....so I still rest my laurels on my 30" "Family and friends" accumulation forecast from that one. LOL.

I think Florida will need to put up a 40 pack to win that game. PSU can get 30 and win IMO.

Just got done talking to a Florida fan re: their Georgia game and he sounded a bit more optimistic than the PSU fans here. I do not blame him. They have athletes in Gainesville. Any given Saturday.

About 1.5". Cashtown is showing 3+". The story here today was the wind (don't come out here for tree color, its all on the ground) and tropical storm like conditions.

We are about .9" here. One of the worst days to be outside that I can remember.

Definitely think wind advisory's are needed for some areas at this point. For long stretches we are sustaining 30-35 now so basically a tropical storm. Gusts into the uppers 40's. Some fairly bad tidal flooding in the DelMarVa area.

That is an unforseen risk from this. 12K 3K Dumps 2-3" Susquehanna Valley Long. HRRR not far from that.

@Cashtown_Coop, looks like your anemometer is not recording right now. Is it just as windy over there as this side? I suspect some trees are going to have damage/come down.

48, light rain with sustained 20MPH winds right now...gusting to 30's and low 40's. Wind Chill (first of the season) is around 41.

Looking at progs, the radar will not look all that great until rush hour or afterwards. They could be wrong though. The 3K really brings the good Friday late into the night.

I actually just happened across a sport site that forecasted the game to be wet with on and off rain. Temps near 50. Not my forecast and they said nothing about shoes but did mention it would favor PSU if wet.
