  1. That is indeed where I saw it. I am certainly not into relief maps like you but find it interesting to see the stats.
  2. If you take this map as the LSV, I know there are a lot of variations, the highest point in each county in order is: Franklin-Tuscarora Mountain 2459 Cumberland-Blue Mountain 2270 Perry-Blue Mountain 2270 Adams-East Big Flat Ridge 2070 Dauphin-Big Lick Mountain 1771 Berks-Blue Mountain 1680 Lebanon-Stony Mountain 1651 York-Stone Head North 1412 Lancaster-Texter Rd 1180
  3. That brings up an interesting nugget I noticed the other day. Lancaster actual has a 1000 foot elevation spot in the county.... Texter Mountain Rd. Of the 67 counties, it ranks as the 62nd lowest high point, and is also the lowest high point for a fully in the LSV county, but was still surprised to see one in Lanco over 1000.
  4. Interesting drought related effect that also happened in 2020. A gas glut is building with school busses off the road and yard maintenance effectively shut down. They cannot plow or mow anymore!
  5. I was thinking we have had several times over the last 4 years where some has been in the sky. Maybe not this pervasive/
  6. Weekend looks dry unfortunately or fortunately depending on you look at it. LOL. Models only have a slight chance of a passing shower on Sat in NE PA.
  7. Models backing up the chance next week...just a bit....and more like a front pass vs. a soaking vort. Friday still stands as a decent chance and Thursday a chance the farther North you go. We have not had anything since May 14th so past 3 weeks now.
  8. Smoky and 45 this AM. Smoke is not as evident over this way though.
  9. Glad to see USA flags there! Interesting one of your neighbors had a roof squabble and one went with metal and the other shingle.
  10. More rain streaming over the Capitol area...may not be reaching the ground.
  11. I do not recall seeing a "No rain for 7-10 days" post from you so you got your just deserts, I guess. Let me try this out, I am not going to buy a winning Powerball ticket for at least 7-10 days.
  12. So far, Harrisburg is the magnet for rain again just like 2020. At one point that year, Harrisburg had 10" more rain than Franklin County over a 2-3 month period.
  13. GFS and CMC also trumpeting Friday as the best chance of the next 4 days.
  14. 3K was also a crowd pleaser, considering just pop-up possibilities, for Thursday. I think today looks more east biased at the moment.
  15. Nothing says fail like a dry thunderstorm. Maybe sunny snowstorm.
  16. Same here now. Not used to these average type days with full sun.
  17. Longer term the GFS is wetter altogether once past the weekend. Temps are moderate with only one day of the next 12 being above 81 at 2PM. Lows are not as nice as we get into the wetter regime but before then, 5 straight days of 40's lows in colder spots of the LSV.
  18. Meso's seem to be mixed on whether Tue, or Thu is a better shot at getting lucky this week (Here come the "I get lucky everyday posts) and Rgem actually has pop up stuff Tue, Wed and Thur. GFS still likes a lot of moisture around late weekend though this panel is a bit comical in a sad way.
  19. Keep the gears lubricated is the excuse, right? Ha
