  1. Let's see if USGS agrees. Very surprised at their map last week.
  2. Here is the NWS radar for a similar time. Lots of summer pop up showers throughout PA though I suspect some are not reaching the ground.
  3. It rained at MDT yesterday (per their records) in a similar situation. Summer showers. That shower near Mt Alto was also legit as I could see it from my place (that look where you see white coming from the clouds). I am not sure if the MDT ob is legit though. They reported a T today as well...between 7 and 8AM.
  4. It was not much but ironic as I had just spoken to them.
  5. It is raining right now at my parents house just south of Harrisburg.
  6. Next up, Sanibel! On mow 7 here and it is 100% done until it rains again.
  7. We got a shower as well but would call it a T here. Radar returns over Harrisburg right now.
  8. Agreed, it is terrible and driving by people doing their lawns usually shows dust surrounding them.
  9. Congrats on your new position. Looking forward to some insider info whether here or the MA board.
  10. The sun has broken back out here. Quite warm in the sun now. 76.
  11. We have had a few breaks and up to 70. Penn Mar Park concert series starts this afternoon so going to enjoy this cloudy and cool breeze up there. "Old Tyme" music FTW on Memorial weekend.
  12. Clouds have moved in here and temp down to 68. Will take whatever rain we can get the next 48 hours evening if just .1". Not loving the 12Z trends though.
  13. Yea, so do I for everyone's sake. With the record on the line, I am watching it just for the anomalous side of things. Being the 6th driest month ever may be as impressive as it being the driest May ever.
  14. Add HRRR, Fv3 and Rgem to the rain parade for tomorrow with scattered showers across the LSV, south of Harrisburg, much of the afternoon into Tue. CTP actually put rain back in their zones, only 20%, for Harrisburg. On the flip side, the RRFS has no rain north of the M/D line.
  15. Talking about a terrible shot turned into a miracle. That was on the level of Lorenzo Charles in 1983 with the Wolfpack.
  16. Well as stated, the UK showed a similar evolution. Other models have rain in pa but nam and UK are the farthest north. The 1-2 inch map from 12z was crazy though. 0z nam does only concentrate on southern Lsv with light accums
  17. Through Tue on the Nam. Some from Mon. We are going to be the very top of the circulation of a stalled/decaying low so anything is on the board...from nothing to a rain out. The UK has a somewhat similar depiction.
  18. Yep, its something to watch plus our dying grass. We want the MJS special which is rain every except MDT and Ruins house.
  19. It starts in the Western LSV Monday but it could be a whole bunch of nothing. Not much support yet. It is still there at 18Z but muted a bit. That (fail) whale high/Large and in Charge per WGAL is a beast.
  20. Good Gravy https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/27/world/meteorologists-conspiracy-harassment-abuse-climate-intl/index.html
  21. 74 beautiful degrees in 'Ville West. The Nam depiction of total rain the next 2-3 days is crazy. 2"+ in western LSV, 1" at MDT. Something to watch at 18Z.
  22. Not too bad. Most of the rain comes later Monday on the one I looked at.
