  1. Maybe, just hard to predict as such. We currently stand .5 BN for June.
  2. Yea, not saying/seeing drought buster but the grass will start growing if it rains every few days.
  3. I am being optimistic with the rain not faltering tomorrow (though some mesos are a bit spotty) and going to keep the deck high. Just clean up the weeds in areas that have not been mowed for about 3 weeks. Yea, Sept was especially hot in the mid and late 2010's as shown below. With the current Norm mean temp being 67.9, it has been fairly close to average in 2 of the 3 2020's years but BN wise we have not had a decent below norm Sept since 2013. 10 years in a row of AN or within .5 of Norm.
  4. Summer almost 1/6th over too. Today is the warmest day on the entire 6Z GFS run. 48 for the low...making it 8 of the first 10 days of summer with lows in the 40's. Air Quality Alert for the Eastern/Southern LSV today. Globals have rain 3 of the 5 days next week. Mow #8 coming this afternoon...to even out the stuff that has grown. Most grass will not get cut though.

  6. I do not know all that inner HIA lingo. I am an innocent Rouzerville USA farm (dust bowl?) boy.
  7. I liked your phrase/word from the other day...Jacked!
  8. The thing I like best about the last day or two model runs is the follow up rain on Tue when the ULL pivots over PA. More northern based but some people could seriously be pretty wet 72 hours from now.
  9. Encouraged that the Nam has stopped its back slide and is a pretty decent rainer Monday. This is not a drought buster, but I am worried for my yard and our farmers and this would go a long way to helping there. Eastern PA widespread .5 to 1.5 rains. Decent west of there as well.
  10. With most of that falling in one day most likely (like me). Mowing has effectively been shut down.
  11. That is 2 degrees warmer than Dulles airport recorded this AM. The HIA is spreading north. Here is my water company when they send out my next bill after 12 hours of grass watering the last 10 days
  12. Chilly Juneteenth Long Weekend/Fathers Day weekend.
  13. I am a big modeler and models have been back pedaling for several days now. The Nam suggests some people would see less than 1/4" so that is not encouraging. The GFS is even worse. I had a nice rain in early May and it has been totally zero (2 T's) since then.
  14. They finally checked the models I guess. Checking in from Dry Gulch... 46 here this AM. Pretty incredible as to this string of mid to upper 40's.
  15. I remember a certain fire pit related post from you that started the old folks home posts. Lol
  16. No drought over then. I was joking but some of these cells looked impressive. With that said that is .28 more than I have had in about one month.
  17. In my eyes we are keeping the stuff alive even if it is browning. I thought grass would never die until 2020 so now I water brown grass. Sucks about the burn ban....It is cool out a fire would feel pretty decent.
  18. Just spent almost 2 hours watering my yard. Sad.
  19. LSV lined up for the next line if it survives that long.
  20. I think a lot of towns have already enacted restrictions. At least that is what people on AmWx have been saying. This first step will be no watering yards which is not all that abnormal.
  21. We got T'ed over here. Did not even wet the road. But first drops in since Mid May. The water restrictions are starting next week per what I heard this afternoon.
