  1. Under 12" for the year here. This is not as bad as the Drought of 2020 when we had about 8-9" at this point. We should be around 19" using HGR's normals.
  2. Under 2" for the month here. Our norm is below MDT's Norm but still over 1" under it. About 7-8" behind for the year now.
  3. I can still smell it. A little surprised it is so prevalent still. It is quite a bit worse now than a couple hours ago.
  4. A smokey 66 this AM. The panels on the HRRR show the smoke but the density is not that bad....ground truth here, it is about 75% bad as it was at its worse.
  5. Smoke had cleared out nicely here this afternoon but piling back in this evening.
  6. Yea, did not think of that. Today really drives home our inability to forecast convection. The 3K has not been doing well lately but this graphic is worth it just due to the length of the line.
  7. Baltimore Jack stole it from H-Burg. They are getting hammered. Shrew getting in on the deal.
  8. Another Harrisburg jack incoming. Quick one it seems.
  9. That does not sound fair but most people who try to break their roof end up not being happy. Some prosecutors go for the felony now.
  10. It will raise his municipal water bill for all the flushes.
  11. They are getting good at stopping scams. Floridians have tried it all and the insurance companies know what to look for.
  12. So do we. Sky high prices. My roof area (not related to the house size) is 2300 sq feet and decent shingle job will be $13,000. I have no damage to try and get insurance to cover it.
  13. I should have used the word HVAC system although in my case it is just air conditioning as our heat is a mix of oil and electric and does not go through the ducts.
  14. You probably just needed the outside unit then. Our outside unit is 30+ years old so the whole system (not the ducts, but the blower/air handler upstairs) would need replaced.
  15. We got a full AC priced last year (not dead yet) and it was $12,000. As much as a roof!
  16. Early 12Z's are pretty dry even for Sat. 3K has some activity this afternoon but less on Sat. Sat night and Sunday Early AM has some action.
  17. The HRRR shows a moderate level today (we are in a Code Orange as well) buy the piece of energy rolling through later this morning/afternoon helps usher some out....but still some smoke Sat, just not at the level shown below.
  18. It seems to find whomever complains more.
  19. Sixers are working Harden to find a way to get under the Cap
