  1. USGS needs to put some of their crayons to work tomorrow with the drought map....it is as dry now as anytime in the last 5 years. No summer sun to compound it but model qpf suggests we are not going to get relief anytime in the near future.
  2. A close to normal day in the books at Krou (using MDT's numbers for norms) with a high of 60. The calls for well BN did not work out for us. Southwesterlies keep getting us despite elevation. Most telling, I was on Blue Ridge Summit which towers over my 810' elevation at 1345' and they were 58 at 3PM.
  3. We just happen to have it on at night. With our access to models, watching the weatherman is not so cool anymore but still interesting to hear someone talk weather.
  4. You can flip the Calendar to tomorrow? Joe Calhoun was swooning over reaching 80's in the south LSV (70's for you).
  5. Mdt missed tying a record by one degree for the 3rd time in about a month.
  6. The temp in the house got to 74 today before I pulled the plug and switched back to AC. Regular ole November evening 72 outside at 5PM.
  7. CXY is now at 78 or 79. Making a run for 80. More up than down today.
  8. Late nooners. 73 and mostly sunny. Winds 20-25 with gusts in the mid to upper 30's. HGR 75 CXY 73 THV 70 All winds from the SW.... LNS and MDT 64! (LNS winds from the ENE, MDT from the SW)
  9. Slightly EB nooners. 60 and Mostly Sunny. I think I remember the models showing temps would be warmer to the south and west of the LSV today.
  10. HGR needs 2.33 inches or precip in the next 57 days to avoid coming in at their lowest year ever (back to 1899.). Averages/norms say they will get more so not likely they set the record but still in play. For the year they only have 20.81" as of yesterday. About 1" less than me.
  11. Tomorrow's current record high temp at MDT 76 set...last year. A couple Meso's have MDT area getting close tomorrow. Not sure about MDT themselves with their recent cool bias.
  12. Mike McCarthy said that the only two constants are taxes and people from Pitts hate Philly. Paraphrased.
  13. I see a 72 and a 71 on MU so MJS may be warmer. Temps in the Time of Pergola. Gabriel Marquez's take on CPA.
  14. Some clouds and back down to 69 here. Lanco has several 70's readings on WU (MJS therm test).
  15. When I was 64 and you were 49, you gained 16 to my 2 from that point on. Momentum changes at half time.
