  1. A fairly mild 32 this Am. It was raining here when I last looked yesterday...around 9PM. Canadian advertising 2 of the next 3 mornings well into the teens for colder PA spots. Nam almost agrees on one of them.
  2. In defense of those questioning, this is not the end game many are wanting. I know, just an op run.
  3. You can do it under the premise that the GFS is showing a string of coastals but totally agree, it will very likely be different in a few hours.
  4. You could have started thinking about sports or something and held out longer, so your money shot was this.....
  5. That is my worry (rain) and the GFS/CMC showing more of the same next week. The GFS does end it as snow.
  6. Despite the cold this week, I am guessing they are indeed out into January at this point.
  7. That is real close to what I believe MDT's number is right now (not sure the records site has today's number in it yet). Their norm for year sits around 42.78 doing some quick math if I have the right numbers so they are about 5-6" below normal as of today. They seem locked in to be about 5" or more BN year end. Using MDT's numbers here at my place, which officially is what we should do, we are going to be 16-18" below normal for the year.
  8. To me it is pretty weird that no NWS station reported anything near 3" with all the local reports of it. Talk about variations, we now have close to 20" yearly differences between the North LSV and SW (or just out of it) LSV.
  9. Mui (IndianTown Gap) posted a 61 degree temp today!
  10. The NWS had said they thought the winds were not going to be an issue since they could not mix down (until later today) so they get a gold star on that one!
  11. Yea., I did not see any NWS stations that were near 3" around here. Kphl is at exactly 3" right now. Going to temper final records for this storm if those numbers are correct. BWI and DCA were in the mid 2's.
  12. Rain roundup of the typical close LSV NWS stations that do QPF. PTW-2.87 LNS-2.74 MDT-2.62 MUI-2.58 THV-2.32 CXY-2.30 HGR-1.41
  13. I need to tally mine up again (I approx) but we are only in the mid to upper 20's total for the year here. MDT's norm for the year is 44-45.
  14. Nah, the grass finally has that subdued look. Ended at 19.
  15. 44 and wrapping up at 1.45" of rain here. Looks like MDT did a little over 2.5".
  16. Finally some rain....going into 7PM we had only had .1" but decent rain now.
  17. Looks like it snuck right past Rou! :-). I sure hope the one week can-kick is all we have to deal with before a better pattern is upon us. Next week's cold will at least make it feel like winter a few days.
  18. Do you hit 10-15 Thur AM? CMC has you lined up for a cold one.
  19. That would be a kick in the bollocks to one of our posters.
  20. I think the combo of a wet ground and moderately strong winds may bring some trees down. Looks like the wind will be the worst Mon afternoon in to Tue. NWS mentioned an inversion which would limit gusts in valleys.
  21. 41 here this AM with drizzle and a stiff breeze mostly on an Easterly component. The rate at which some of the meso's have rain falling (especially Eastern LSV and east) does suggest some street flooding tonight. Great representation of the system centered over west central Florida right now along with the eventual path it is progged to take as predicted by the pressure falls. If it were cold I would be mighty nervous about a fail this far west (my place.)
  22. Some globals suggested a sharp cut off in the beneficial rains tomorrow.
  23. 37 this Am in the Pocono's. 41 at Rouz. Some of these posts meant to depress are just as likely meant to stir.
