44 and wrapping up at 1.45" of rain here. Looks like MDT did a little over 2.5".

Finally some rain....going into 7PM we had only had .1" but decent rain now.

Looks like it snuck right past Rou! :-). I sure hope the one week can-kick is all we have to deal with before a better pattern is upon us. Next week's cold will at least make it feel like winter a few days.

I think the combo of a wet ground and moderately strong winds may bring some trees down. Looks like the wind will be the worst Mon afternoon in to Tue. NWS mentioned an inversion which would limit gusts in valleys.

41 here this AM with drizzle and a stiff breeze mostly on an Easterly component. The rate at which some of the meso's have rain falling (especially Eastern LSV and east) does suggest some street flooding tonight. Great representation of the system centered over west central Florida right now along with the eventual path it is progged to take as predicted by the pressure falls. If it were cold I would be mighty nervous about a fail this far west (my place.)

Our daughters BF's family (that is a mouthful) has a cabin so we are getting away for a weekend. They are here with us. There is a restaurant up here that we love to go to....Van Gilders Jubilee.

I think it is silly that anyone should be asked to leave because they enjoy weather but do not live in the forum boundaries. Just ignore someone if you do not want to read their posts. Yea, I would not buy a season pass unless I ate there a lot and the discount washed out the loss. I like the 365 days a year place at Liberty. Despite the cold shot that may be coming next week, seems hard to imagine they have a lot of luck opening before Christmas.

Here we are mid-December and here we are with Whitetail, Roundtop and Liberty 100% closed from what I can see. Seems like a yearly tradition to have no early winter skiing anymore.
