Is this finally the one that breaks through? All the usual caveats about suppression but we are fighting with two arms behind our back until we get colder air near us.

I still contend that if a miracle happens and we all get 6 or more inches of snow, we may have some roof issues.

That is the one many are interested in...GFS bringing that boundary back down again. Need more adjustments for a real snowstorm.

GFS 4-8 for West and North LSV and much of Central and North PA....3-6 or 2-4 as you go down into the SE. Kuch on Pivotal.

The way these Meso's are gyrating low locations, I am keeping the blinds a little open at least. False hopes probably.

So far the 12Z's are a PSU (as in the city...State College) and MSV miracle.

The low placement struggle/dual areas of Lowest pressure have been a problem on several suits for over 24 hours now. It does mess up the ground result in a big way as you suggested.

Paltry accums most of the LSV outside elevations.

7PM the lowest area of pressure finally switches East.

About a third of PA is rain or dry slot at 6PM. The low has still not fully transferred east if it is going to.

Primary low still west of Pa at 21. Snow for much of PA but much of LSV is mix or rain. Northern LSV still snow.

Great run for Western PA when the 850's are grabbed back.

HRRR show a dual barrel area of lowest pressure with one SLP into SW PA at 28 and another in NC at 29. It is the model reflecting around to the location of the lowest pressure. But 850's are initially lost in SW PA due to it.

HRRR in SW VA at 27 with a thin band of snow at the M/D line. Change in orientation of the precip could have snow in Lanco before 10AM.

12Z HRRR the SLP is in North Georgia at hour 23.

VERY elevation dependent signal there for southern locales I checked the Fv3 for some love and got 1-2" so need the 12Z's to save the day.
