The timing of the snow on the Canadians (Friday) would be a school day killer.

About 2 1/2" total here. Very light snow falling.

Drove through downtown Hagerstown today and saw 3 cars crushed by trees that had fallen over....a surreal scene.

Much of the heavier snow overnight is focused East of me as modeled. I was speaking about the GFS in particular. I did not say most vs. good bit. GFS has me getting another ~2".

It has been snowing here for about 6 hours now so not really bragging about my total :-).

18Z GFS on board with Eastern LSV getting the goods tonight. Out this way we have already had a good bit of our snow per the GFS. Sitting at 3/4" here now.

Plowable all around. I saw at least 6 plows today for the squalls. All plows up.

I am home a lot when these high wind events happen so today was a bit different for me being out of the house.... was not home here to confirm how windy it felt but it was late this AM that the highest gust was recorded. The road signs shaking/waving West of York was something I have only seen once in my life before. It was just like this gif.....quite the event today.

I saw it but we did not go in. Were sort of on a time schedule so had 15 min but not much more. Stayed in Mountville for the night.
