  1. there is no way Greenville SC is getting 8-12 inches of snow in Dec 8th
  2. the gfs seems to just throw random sht in the NS every run
  3. the STJ Sw was not as robust....was the biggest issue
  4. say what? how is this south of us
  5. where did this ULL in Eastern Canada come from?
  6. its annoying cause confluence is better but now SS SW is weaker smh
  7. this might come up a bit more north than 6z
  8. the confluence is weaker on the 12z gfs it seems
  9. I think we are probably heading towards the same GFS solution as 6z at this point. The Nam looks better at 84
  10. dude---everytime we have needed a north trend in the past couple of years to get snow...we have have failed. the north trend only happens when we dont need it to
  11. gfs does not look more suppressed so far than 6z lol...
  12. ICON seems like its really on its own alot of times...sometimes good for weenies and then you have today. It dosent seem like a good model
  13. Eps hopefully will say the op is an outlier like the gfs
  14. Basically it's the Souths version of Jan 2016
  15. We have 24 to 36 hours to fix this. 18z gave us life but as usual when we need a north trend...it goes south
  16. 00z has been a disaster. We took a slight step back instead of making a step forward. Oh well....time to look at week 4 of the weeklies
  17. as i said FV3 will be better than GFS but not as good as 18z
  18. GEFS looks pretty wet for our area though. edit: looks similar to 18z. We area in the blue qpf
  19. what happens to the FV3 at 96...does...someone power it off and then it takes 30 minutes to reset for the rest of the run like a cable box?
  20. i miss the runs a few days ago where the primary tracked to Tn:(
  21. it happens every storm...we think we are on smooth sailing..and then we hit this bump in the road that makes us rethink everything. Fortunately in 2016...it was just one model run...lol and it rebounded quickly!
