These winter predictions from our local outlets are out earlier than normal I believe? Are they that confident?

And ofcourse just saw our favorite weather women on nbc10. Said no snow will make it into philly maybe a quick mix well nw of philly
She is annoying and puts a damper on any possible snow threat....

Maybe start a new thread for this potential event? Or will that jinx things?

Already lost my Eagles cap earlier this year out the window while driving 70-75mph and gusty winds.....have my Flyers cap on currently which may get blown off as well if not careful? Very gusty out there.

61F here, not a cloud in the sky at the moment. Fuzz (grass) uprising is happening!

That's a sledding hill for youngin's
Growing up our front lawn had a nice "sledding hill" which was great Dec-Feb. We abused it into wet snow sloppy March where going up/down the hill screwed up the lawn big time. Dad was pissed...sledding on the hill canceled.

Had a couple nice showers overnight and another one now at 6:15am as I am sipping coffee in WaWa's parking lot mooching free wifi...

Nice Fall October night (perfect Halloween weather)....mist falling, a tad breezy at times and temps in the 40s.
-
Just went to get gas at 4:30am and it's super miserable out there. Gusty winds...moderate blown rain and temps in the low-mid 40s. Leaves are starting to drop as the back roads are beginning to cover a bit...looking more Fall-ish. If this was snow it would have been a nice event. Timing, wind and precip intensity.

One helluva moon out there. Full / bright lighting up everything. Check it out. I literally could have a football catch without lights...

Same thing at 2am this morning....full, super bright moon with clear skies and a crisp feel outside.

Just realized the title of the thread is "pro" forecasts. I apologize in advance if my outlook doesn't belong here. Feel free to move or delete as necessary. Thanks.
Yo Ralph, welcome back from your summer cave!
"Pro" or "people who know what they're talking about"....doesn't really matter either way IMO. I don't think there are any mods in this forum to move/delete...we are self-reliant.

Leaves still green and holding onto the trees pretty tight. If we had these winds a month later leaves would be blowing all over the place. Definitely a Fall feeling day out there...add football and you can't get more Fall-ish.

Sun trying like hell to completely break out...clouds keep back filling.

Afternoon forecast Sunny - Day one a fail
Skies gradually went partly cloudy by around 1pm and now qualify mostly cloudy with a thin white overcast. Current satellite reveals a thick white overcast overspreading near half the country.
Mets explanation? Same thing has been happening for months.
Same here but I don't mind since my eyes don't like brightness and it's easier to see my phone outside...

Back to 64F here. Could be an interesting frontal passage here later on, at the least some gusty winds it appears.
Winds have picked up here a tad...,.may get some showers a little later on according to radar.

Personally I'd like about 3 or 4 dry and sunny days in a row to go along with that. Thanks in advance!
The rest of the week doesn't look bad till the weekend possibly.
If you believe Accu-Weather long range..,,Christmas week doesn't look too bad, seasonal....no 60s +.

I sure hope not, lol. It looks like frost blanket time Thursday and Sunday nights.
I wish Fall would just arrive and stay. Temps in the 50s...breezy and crisp. We are so "up and down" these days....

Thanksgiving falls on different dates and thanksgiving is super early this year (11/22) so maybe that's why I thought the predictions came out early.
