More rain in the last 15 minutes than in the entire morning round.

Neighborhood PWS says only 0.28” which seems pathetic based on the upstream reports and radar. Pouring in greenbelt right now.

Tomatoes have been awful, but that’s mostly the deers fault. Our one jalapeño plant has been off the hook. Probably 20 peppers and counting. 

We’ve lost several plants this summer though for one reason or another. A young dogwood, young maple, new azalea, and some others.

Snowfall isn’t crazy if we get a mod modoki. Temp forecast is lolz as usual. Pretty sure JB’s cold forecasts are his way of denying climate change.

Was weeding near my rose bush Sunday and must have disturbed a yellow jacket nest. Didn’t notice until one stung my leg and then saw 3-5 more on me. Took off running and ripped my shirt off. They followed me for 30-40 yards.  Only was stung the once but that was easily the most painful bee sting I’ve ever had. Still a bit red and swollen and itchy around the spot.

Finally back in the country. Can we hold off the storms until after my connection lands back home?

I know Mitch left, just wishing he hadn’t.
