LWX definitely got a bit overzealous with that 5-8” update. 3-5/4-6” seems like the reality for most of that zone.

5.4”, 0.1” last hour. That looks like it pending streamers. Sun peaking through even it is still snowing very lightly.

Not me, a couple miles to my west in downtown Columbia I think. This year my reports are showing as “Elkridge 2 W”, although another spotter’s reports show the same. In previous years I was “Elkridge 3 W”, so apparently NWS thinks I moved?

Yup. Bigger dendrites and better rates.

3.9” after 6 hours with first snowboard wipe. 0.2” last hour, 3 hours straight at that rate. Snow is quite light right now, but radar suggests that changes soon.

Just had that thought. I would have put odds at beating Mon-Tues at 2% as of Wednesday or even most of yesterday. Now, probably better than even money if NAM and euro are right?
