    Bigger flakes and good dendrite production going on now. This is piling up efficiently.

    2.4" on the snowboard already. Coming down moderately, small to medium sized flakes.

    There were more than a few mets on Twitter (Tomer Burg, Homenuk, etc.) who were saying that the dynamics suggested things could be better than advertised, depending on where things lined up. People on here suggested the same. But model forecasts took this from a T-2" deal on Wednesday to now maybe 4-6"? Fun stuff.

    We need to do this whole "forecast snow amounts double or triple in the final 24 hours before storm start" thing before our February HECS

    ^my interpretation of 10:1 vs Kuchera going off those maps is that, like @Bob Chill was saying, any snow that falls later in the afternoon is high ratio fluff. Main round is basically 10:1.

    This is my thought as well. 8-9” season to date by Jan 20 is solid if not spectacular. Very sporting chance for climo+, although the really gaudy 150%+ of climo will take an incredible run.

    DT’s actual snow map went from about 1” for me to 4” so I guess I’ll take it!

    Well he had 1” for most of us on first guess. So hopefully second provisional forecast map is better.
