  1. Animal never said "widespread" just for the record. I'm sorry he feels that way, and sorry I get amused at a vent thread turning into a lecture. Still have light snow and think my area will end up around the 6" mark by the end of the day. Some people, in my opinion, should be allowed to call that a bust. I'm happy to see the snow, anytime and anyhow I can get it. I decided to work remotely again today because I don't want to go out in it. At least is was enough to plow. Barely, LOL. Onto the next one.
  2. There’s always a screw zone. I thought this might happen and tried to keep the 6-9 inch as my expectation. Had all that sleet been snow very well could have went over. Sleet is the worst!! Still have flurries. I may have picked up close to a whole inch over night. Can’t tell yet, too dark.
  3. Despite what the radar looks like now that the sun is down, still have light snow here with an occasional gust. I’m just not in those inch or two per hour bands. Still nice to see especially if continues through morning!! Liking the duration even though I’m in the lower accumulation zone. Enjoy!
  4. I'm back to almost flurries after about 1.5 hrs. of snow. Attached the sun trying to come out. Weird storm and they just extended the WSW until 4pm tomorrow? Just saying the conditions I've experienced since yesterday has barely reached warning criteria.
  5. It's official, the sleet has ended here and have very light snow. YES! 30d. My head hurts!
  6. Still waiting for it! Light precip/mixed, mostly sleet still. Let me know when I should throw in the towel. Congrats LHV, northern NJ, and NYC
  7. From last post temp 28, had moderate to heavy sleet which is now back to light sleet. Gusting over 20, sort of scares you when the pellets hit the glass.
  8. 31 here, the wind speed on my app is wrong as it is getting stronger. The sun came out for a minute. Nothing falling here at the moment. I trust I will see something soon, seat belt still buckled.
  9. I also feel my location may be in that screw zone for a while over night. The shorter the better. Still going back to snow though. I’m ready!
  10. I'm sort of like extreme SE PA -where is that? Bucks is north to me, not south, but yes definitely east of me. Will see what differences we get, if any. Beautiful country up there. I'm almost in the Mid Atlantic forum-LOL
  11. I’m still praying and am ok where I am. I think. Anything plowable makes me happy.
  12. While y'all are resting and it's quiet until the next run, I'm just dropping by with a little blessing: Be kind to us our Dear Mother Nature. We're holding onto to the ball. We trust our King Euro will say yes, yes, yes!!! May your curses all be lifted on those of us who may or may not have started a storm thread too early. We pray for your snow blessings upon us and our dear Groundhog. Thank you, alleluia, amen. Play ball!
  13. It tried to snow/sleet here earlier this morning. At 8 am few flakes mixed in with little sleet was 32. Sheen on the deck and table before sunrise but went quickly to rain. That was it. Bah Why am I watching this game? A Happy New Year to you guys!
  14. There was still ice on the evergreens right before sunset.
  15. I think you guys did a wonderful job with this one! I went with 6” or less here telling a few folks it’s going to sleet/rain at night but they were stuck on the tv mets previous forecasts! Being by myself now, wishing we didn’t turn the garage into the Eagles nest-the car took me 10 minutes to just get the door open to start it, another 20/30 minutes cleaning it off, and a few tries back and forth to get over the hump since my son came thru the lane with the tractor. Next storm I will go out in shifts.
  16. Yes. But it has lightened up considerably. Which makes it hard to say it’s ip. But it is. Just a little.
