  1. We had marble sized falling for about 2 minutes. Pretty cool. Just like earlier this afternoon blew right on by fast. It’s gone.
  2. Thank you H Agnes. I'm now trained on where to find it.
  3. Round 3 later today, then looking forward to some nice normal weather (!?) My location has fared well last 2 nights. Very brief hail Tues night as super cells passed well to the north. Last night down poured with little wind, no hail, only a brief power outage. Northern New Castle County was hit with damage. I'm not sure where to look on NWS page for reports to see if it was a tornado. Stay safe out there!
  4. Thank you both. I am not a trained spotter by any means. Correct me if I’m wrong but I would summarize that it was a very brief very short spin but probably a straight line wind based on the break you can see in between the red on radar that could have blew through my home location. I had no witness to any of this leaving work and driving just 5 miles home which is south or southwest. It seemed like your typical squall line passing to me. Fascinating stuff. This is is the one. I think.

  6. If anyone has a shoot of the radar at 4:45-4:50 pm please post it for me? Scanner had multiple calls near here. One was for a residential rescue. Then I didn’t hear anything else except the poor guys arguing about where they needed the fire police. All is calm now. Thinking it was a brief event whatever it was.
  7. These are pretty sturdy metal chairs. This is where the wind placed them.
  8. Something blew through here. My poor husband got caught in a gust dropped his phone, the mail, his paychecks while grabbing the full view door to get in the house. Thankfully he held on got in the house to find I left the kitchen window open so he cleaned up the water on the floor when our son called to say look out back. We lost a shed.
  9. Happy April 1 and currently 41degress with a wind chill of 35!
  10. At home right before sunset. I’ll take the joy of having it here still.
  11. Despite just receiving 1.5" snow and the ice/rain mix on Sunday, I love that our temps are below normal. It has kept some snow on some evergreens and shady spots. The 2 days of Mar sun is having a time melting it since it was so heavy. It's a mini war of the worlds. Warmer Mar sun versus heavy wet snow encrusted with a sleet/ice/rain/re-freeze on top. I suspect it will still be around in spots a couple of more days.
  12. Not looking up my final total. Did what I expected as was in the 1-3 or 3-6 battleground with the rain/snow/sleet line. It's under 3. Not looking forward to the weekend either, looks like same set up, no? Story of the winter.
  13. Been steady snow for 3 hrs now. Finally starting to stick to driveway
  14. Oh boy. In the battle ground between 1-3 to 3-6 once again. We’ll see.
  15. Welcome March, the new January. Nothing official, but Avondale seems to have topped the 3" mark all snow from this event. Nice out.
  16. Back to heavy pixie dust now. Man it was great while it lasted!
  17. Rates good out here in southern ChesCo. Easily approaching 2" and it's coming down. Temp has dropped to 26. Only took me 45 minutes to travel 5 miles to get home. Please be careful out there, roads have caved!
  18. @ work in KSQ some flakes making it down. 30 degrees
  19. Just got a WSWarning. Bold, but it does seem parts of ChesCO will meet the criteria. I'm pretty sure I won't (right) here. KSQ Avondale area.
