Checked the nearest PWS to my house. High of 107F and not a trace of rain. Fucking wasteland. Wildfires already breaking out; saw some FB posts of a large brush fire in Strasburg today.

I tried for a while to keep the grass alive, but i'm done. Without any help at all from the sky there's no point, and no doubt watering prohibitions are coming again soon anyway.

I'm right at 1.25" since right before Memorial Day. At this point I don't know what can produce meaningful precipitation in the Valley anymore.
