  1. .6" in the last 4 weeks. Results with watering in foreground, and without in the farground.
  2. The lack of precipitation out here over the past several years is alarming.
  3. Overcast most of the day. And not a drop of rain.
  4. Nice light show to my north while I continue to bake in drought.
  5. True. I'm so looking forward for a couple weeks break from the humidity. Cannot wait. I simply loathe Virginia.
  6. I'm headed there in 3 weeks. Watch it be intense heat out west then and cooling off in the east.
  7. Brown there? The yards in my neighborhood that are not being actively watered are already fried to a crisp.
  8. It's becoming obvious the only way out of this longterm drought in the western portions of the region is tropical intervention. We need at least 2-3 remnant systems to smack us. And the probability of that is infinitesimal unfortunately.
  9. Rained enough to wet the ground. .15" Barely a drop in the bucket.
  10. You were fortunate. It hit 90F everywhere else.
  11. This place will be nothing but cinder by the end of next week.
  12. Same here. Getting brown rapidly.
  13. .3" in the past 10 days. Here we go.
  14. Getting a big dose of nothing. Radar is laughable.
  15. Good thing we got a storm last night, because this isn't looking good for today.
  16. Intense line of storms hauling ass. Crazy lightning and wind. .41" in 10 minutes. That was wild.
  17. When did we have a cold summer?
  18. Repeated nut kicks have been rewarded by the God of weather. Pop-up shower right above us has delivered .6"+ of life-giving rain.
  19. Bone dry. Sunny, hot, humid all day.
  20. North, south, east, west.... Winchester getting hit yet again today.
  21. Every pattern produces warmer than forecasted temps here.
  22. Another meager event. Paltry .39". Everything is nice and green due to the frequent rain, clouds, and not blistering-heat. But these drizzle-fest events are doing nothing to penetrate the ground and charge the water table. Dry conditions will take hold rapidly as soon as the pattern turns back to sunny and hot.
  23. It's an oasis of drought relief.
