  1. Still drizzle and intermittent light rain. Getting tired of this.
  2. I've been concerned about that all day. Maybe the low getting closer will change that. But I've got only drizzle now with this line having made it here.
  3. I hope this next line finally holds together. Because every one since 10AM has split and gone north or south of me.
  4. This rain is really struggling to move to the NW of the low.
  5. You're on the verge of the main core. You're going to get dumped on.
  6. Look at PWS's in the area and you'll quickly realize it's Stephens City. Lol. It's probably the lowest total in the Valley.
  7. 1.24" since last night. Looks to continue to be dry here until the main core in a few hours.
  8. Unbelievable. Not even a drop. Looked impressive until it got on the doorstep, then split and went north and south. You can't script this. It doesn’t matter what direction it comes it can't rain here of any significance.
  9. There is a split between a cell about to inundate winchester and another coming through front royal about to waterboard Strasburg yet again. Right now that gap is directly east of me. Let's see what happens.
  10. Let's see if storms from the east can hit here without dying or splitting.
  11. That would still be the biggest total here since May. And when it's all said and done, I bet I'm closer to that than 4".
  12. Wow, so now west of the BR is dry until tomorrow night. It's 12 hours of main core rain for us or bust it sounds like.
  13. I love how the skies cleared enough to pull off another 90F day here.
  14. Over 1" 5 miles south of me and still going. .6" 2 miles south of me. .02" on top of me.
  15. I'll beleive it rains here when it actually happens. Tonight is yet another example of how rain manages to steer away from this place.
  16. South. Strasburg gets hit again. It's sprinkling here. As usual.
  17. I wish I lived in PA. I swear, there's not a day goes by without a line of storms stretching across the state.
  18. This is what the Shenandoah basin desperately needs. I pray it comes to pass.
  19. Bring it. I will wave to you as my house floats by down the Potomac.
  20. Up to 2.83" since Memorial Day. 1.49" below last summer's record.
  21. Max in Stephens City. I think it's safe to say toss the Euro.
  22. Rained 5 times today. First 4 were scrapes, last was flush, but the intensity wasn't great by then, it looked better on radar. The last was the most since July 4 and the daily .58" was the most since late May. .81" since Thursday, but it's taken 9 rounds to get there. Today: .10" .13" .02" .03" .30"
  23. This one actually hit me flush. The rain intensity was not like it was earlier, but this has been better than anything since at least July 4. I'm waiting for it to stop before I go check the gage. Certainly the daily has topped anything since May.
