Fingers crossed for a season interesting enough for salty discussions

In all honesty, we've seen this movie too many times. The Pacific is going to likely wreck shop indefinitely. I don't see this winter as having great potential. A PAC behaving like a hyperactive hamster on a wheel has proven this time and again. Hope I'm wrong.

Was this a still photo taken from a video? That's the only way I've ever been able to get the cloud to ground shots.

The effort this SE board puts into making winter something that it just isn't - and has never been - is amazing. And it happens every single year.
