  4. Portsmouth RI, 33.6 all liquid now, little under 2” final. Not gonna clean figure it should all be gone tomorrow here
  5. Portsmouth RI, light wet snow, 1.75” temps edging above freezing
  6. In Fall River, been moderate for about 30 minutes quickly coated eyeball about half inch
  7. 19.4 here, aquidneck island RI, believe 1st morning in the teens.
  8. Hi Kevin I am in again thanks
  9. Can you see grubs in the turf looks and from what your describing sounds like it., you should see this in the dirt when you pull grass up. I got some grub damage in sept, had grubs the size of night-crawlers. Easy to fix if that’s the case.
  10. Group of us usually go to the cape 3rd week of sept. This year stayed at a friends beach house in weakapaug and played SWRI and SECT courses. Played 36 Richmond CC Friday , 36 @ foxhopyard in east haddam on sat and finished 18lake of isles on Sunday. Never played foxhopyard, man what a layout. Wish I took some pics of 3, we played the blues so played that from the back tees. Beautiful. Great course but their greens are in tough shape. Head pro said the are shutting down front (?) nine to work on them. Hope thy figure it out. Even though it’s pricey , if they fix their greens worth a play.
  11. Sweet lots of rain here until about the last 10 days, had to start watering
  12. Good idea what I would suggest is make sure they have trackman set up ,can really dial everything in . Some screen caps of a session last winter tt
  13. Thanks they are what they are, we have problems with people who don’t control easy food sources for them here which attract them to Populated neighborhoods. So no surprise it’s mostly the people that suck
  14. Lol i should have a little something extra for protection ( frowned on here), I had a not so little guy (50 lbs) get bit in the rump by a coyote back 8n February. F8ne now sucked at the time.
  15. Same, when I had a 60in my bag used it as a lob wedge Mostly yards and in, changed to a 58degree with k grind . I changed because I had a tendency to hit the 60 to high on the face and consistently came up short...
  16. Had reports locally here of coyotes jumping 6 ‘ fences like yours and killing pets , just saying is all
  17. 60 degrees - 100 yards thats a long way. One thing you can do is open the face a little , get mor loft and you can take roughly the same swing. Other method is to practice taking partial swings and flight the ball low , two hops skid and stop. Effective way to get it close on those short shots.
  18. Sweet 3 balls on the green
  19. Think I’ve mown 8-9 times every 5 days , lilacs and red azaleas in bloom
  20. Think PGA is over, don’t see brooks falling apart, someone will have to go low to challenge him. been playing weekly though have had to move our league day around to get it in and avoid the rain. Hopefully we’ve turned the corner.
  21. For those interested in getting a GHIN but not wanting to be a club member, you can do it through Swansea CC. There may be other clubs that do the same but I haven’t found any around here. You can do it all online. They offer RIGA or MAss golf. Even though I live in RI I got the MGA because it was cheaper and I just wanted a GHIN so I could play in tournaments.
  22. I watch on DVR, so I avoid this thread until i catch up. Early start. Should be fun. Molinari is so steady think someone will need to go low to catch him.
  23. If you use a pre-emergent like dimension, you won’t be able to seed in parallel. Need soil temps at least 50 for cool season grasses (eg fescues) before you seed. If / when you do seed use a starter fert. Definitely rake out the crap first.
