  1. Sandwiched between storms, looking southeast towards storms over Nantucket, with cloud deck from northern storms spreading south.
  2. New bats, for 2 years my wife has been asking what I want for bday Xmas, I told her don’t get me anything I am going to buy new clubs, finally pulled the trigger. got fitted by titleist fitter at local club. Well worth it.
  3. Looking west at the storms along the CT RI Border
  4. looking north / northeast from Portsmouth RI around 530
  5. If it’s well established should come back no problem
  6. Should be fine if you just keep it hydrated, drop some fert in early September
  7. You’re hitting from the wrong side . Pretty special to be able to spot the ball after that take away.
  8. 55 this am will be the coolest here until September, water temps now in mid, some upper 60's and will remain there until well into September, which tends to limit how cools we get overnight.
  9. I am happy with 250 carry , 300 yard drives are pretty rare even for some pros
  10. Little late , but .62” at UUU THURSDAY, missed much of the early day rain. Take it though, lawn Ken was starting to brown, greened up nice yesterday beautiful morning here
  11. Local weather stations recording a little over half and inch overnight, welcome
  12. Yesterday was first summer like day here this warm season, 78 at UUU with some modest humidity early, prior to that mostly under the influence of the nearby 50’s water temps. 60.6/46.4 now
  13. Thursday’s don’t work for me, league day. Next week won’t work, but with a little more lead time I have some friends here who would be up to play fox hop yard during the week.
  14. Played Ct national a number of times, nice track, heard good things about raceway, but Think ct national is a better layout. Fox hop yard in east haddam is nice as well but a little further out for SEMA guys. i’d do CT national if timing worked
  15. Depends on what you use. I haven’t used the fert in a while so not sure what the process is, but in past you had to apply when wet and ensure it didn’t rain with8n a certain time period. There was also the risk of over application and burning the lawn. So yes as effective, but lots of moving parts . Spray is kind of dummy proof.
  16. dry most of the morning but Ended up with .4” at UUU yesterday, we take.
  17. Nice , I prefer to use a spray on broadleaf weed killer only, rather then combining with fertilizer. In reference to an earlier question you had about treating broad leaf weeds. This way you don’t have to worry about timing.
  18. 63/62 this morning, a touch muggy, hopefully we can pull some rain today, maybe a boomer down this way?
  19. Played with some buddies from mass at Swansea CC yesterday. Was pretty dried out which , which is unusual there this time of year. Looks like mass guys will be able to play in RI June 1. Can get our league started, as a bunch of mass guys are members at the club we play at, sucks for them not being able to play and paying for a membership.
  20. Seminole is like Bigfoot, probably should have kept it a secret, but was glad to be able to see it. Loved watching the boys tote their own bag.
  21. .16 overnight, still a touch humid 62/61.8
  22. Great news, good luck with your game
  23. Pull the pin Mostly on short puts for me, it’s a mental thing seems less room for the ball with the pin in
