Portsmouth RI, S+ now, temps dropped from 34 to 32, starting to accumulate on treated paved surfaces, still less than an inch total accumulation though
in the heavy radar echos in Portsmouth RI, but not really snowing that much harder, just larger flakes, surmise some of the heavier returns might be due to bright banding, someone more knowledgeable may know for sure.
Portsmouth RI 32/30.2 , moderate snow since last report a couple of hours ago, no real accumulations, just a decent coating, treated paved surfaces just wet.
not sure if anyone replied, I never measured before we flipped to rain. i had around 4" (eyeballin) of compacted rain soaked around 6AM, also my area if very exposed so difficult to measure. I have seen reports on the island of 6-7".
Rain 46/45 .25” light winds. After today will there be any indication of drought? Most fresh water bodies filled back to their max including water supplies here.
