    Winds are cranking. Impressive little system.

    Just got to Pit 2 and have some flakes. I'll call that a victory. Left Marblehead at 6:00 with the temp at 46*. Temp dropped to 39 as I crossed from Portsmouth into Maine Snow mixed in with the rain at PWM at 36* All snow in Yarmouth, 295 and rte 1 all very slushy. SN- here at Pit2 at 33*.

    Flakes at least seem pretty likely at Pit2. Perhaps a little whitening if the NAMs were to play out. The official NWS p/c is caling for a mix with the dreaded "little or no accumulation".

    I'm not sure if I'll be at Pit1d or Pit2. Not sure whether it will matter, though I suspect Pit2 *might* be the better option.

    Regardless....rain and wind are more exciting than what we had the last couple months (though it was great for outdoor activteis).

    I'm about 10 miles above open ocean, and anything wind north of due east is a land breeze. So, there's always that.

    Not for long.

    Nothing beats 12-18” from snow showers. Snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow. High near 19. Windy, with a south wind 55 to 60 mph increasing to 65 to 70 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 105 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches possible.
