  1. Is there reason to be more than just hopeful that the front may move out a little faster than forecast on Saturday? I'm hoping Pit2 can be good for outdoor activity. Thanks.
  2. What are the thoughts on whether we salvage Saturday? Will we have sun? I have family coming up to Pit2......being outside will be a whole lot easier than in the house. TIA

  7. Nice morning. WRT to the mini-splits, I have them in both Westborough and Maine. They're more effective at cooling than heating. I'm not certain about this, but I think that's due to where they need to be placed--high on the wall. When cooling obivuosly the cool air wafts down toward the floor. when you're trying to warm the space, it tends the warmth has to work it's way down to where you're standing/sitting.. They're still a good solution, but know that the cooling is more effective.
  8. I was at Polly's once--LOVED it! I look forward to getting back up that way and hitting it again. Meanwhile, I'm glad I was able to be at Pit2 yesterday for the sun and warmth. Rain and misty today with a progged high of 55. Not a good one to be out on the boat.
  9. After-the-fact post.......driving home around 4:30 yesterday, as heavy a rain I've experienced between Dudley and Oxford, MA. Great lightning---inncluding one that struck about 50 yards from my car. Road was compoletely flooded. Still managed to get my DD drivethru.
  10. Could be the third long-duration outage at Pit2. I think the Pike to Rt2 is on a bit of a razors edge, but pretty confident the goods will stay north. Perhaps 1-2 down to the pike.
