I'm no stranger to that.....what's new is I wasn't able to see any models/posts until I got home from work. So I got the whole rollercoaster ride in 30 minutes.

Over/under on whether it snows longer than it was foggy last week I just read through the last 14 pages of posts......so much excitement in the 12z reactions only to be replaced by the somber tones of winter 22-23.

Plenty of time for this to become a colder rain.

I recall Tip introducing the notion of "correction vector" a few years back. I think the median is akin to that and helps identify the direction and magnitude of that correction.

As important as the mean is, I do like looking at it in relation to the median. Appears the median on both GEFS and EPS is West/Northwest of their respective means.

Loads of time for the 7th and 10th too come in completely different than what's depicted.

I'd like to give kudos to everyone for not starting any threads for the 7th/10th. Shows great restraint--a healthy start to 2024.

I wouldn't look at this as anything extraordinary worth traveling to. But, if I were, I'd Fly to NYC and then drive--if needed--to PA or New England.

This tracking is much more enjoyable than a debate of whether overnight lows would be in the 30s or 40s and how dense the fog will be.
