  1. We did well in December but it completely reversed after the mid dec event
  2. This winter is a carbon copy of 97-98. Wet and warm. 01-02 was dry
  3. We’ve had 2 plowable events this season here in western Orange County. Since the mid dec event here it’s been virtually snowless outside of a coating here and there
  4. That map looks spot on for up here.. 10.6” ytd
  5. 0.1” of snow/sleet here current temp 31
  6. Nice coating of snow but all standing water is a sheet of ice now. Salt trucks have been nonstop the past hour Temp 16 degrees
  7. Sticking to all surfaces. Maybe we can squeeze an inch out of this temp 31
  8. Winds are starting to pick up. Gusting to 25 now
  9. Temp of 46 1.19” of rainfall 1-2” of snowpack survived the night
  10. Thankfully most of the excitement stayed well east of here. Very little wind to speak of and now it’s quite a beautiful morning. Partly cloudy skies and 46 degrees
  11. Temp 42 1.19” of rainfall so far not much wind to speak of. Highest gust here was 15mph
  12. Temp 29 w/ a few flurries Still have 4” of snow cover here
  13. It feels like winter right now.. too bad that vicious cutter is gonna decimate the solid 4” snowpack outside. Took a drive up Greenville turnpike to the top of Greenville mountain about 5 miles to my west… shocked to see how much snow there is above 1200’. Solid 6-7” up there.
  14. Use the multi quote please!!
  15. It’s amazing how A grinch storm has become the norm now.
  16. This is very true. I’m at 10.6” ytd at 12/16. Not too bad at all
  17. Yeah Monticello prob averages around 65-70”. That stretch between Rock Hill to MSV capitalize on these types of events
  18. My 20 yr average is 53”. I’m pretty sure areas like Cornwall, highland falls, new Windsor are in the 35-40” range for the same period. Those towns are right on the western shores of the Hudson with elevation <200’
  19. The averages really drop off once near the immediate shores of the Hudson. Down In Orange County I believe the averages along the Hudson are in the 35” range but increase to the 50-55” as you move west toward Middletown/Otisville with elevation
