    Also the snow piles are pretty much non existent. Crappy storm.

    At Camden, Maine for the weekend spotting out a potential wedding venue. Go figure it’s warmer here than it is back in Milford CT. 41F and all rain here. Wind gusts were solid though.

    Well I guess that’s it from the wind department. Not too bad minimal impact along the S coast. Definitely nothing close to Isaias.

    Sounds like a constant roar above but so far it’s been ok here. Next few hours will be telling but so far the rain and wind have been nothing extraordinary.

    HRRR has that line near Philly dying and then redeveloping East of New Haven.

    I work for an electric company and don’t really feel like spending Christmas on wires down duty lol. Plus after all the **** this year I think people at least deserve a Christmas with power.

    Not saying that can’t happen at some point. Just saying the NAM isn’t right, we aren’t getting gusts to 60 right now lol

    HRRR has the worst of it in a line from Danbury-Meriden-Norwich. Not as bad south of there. Praying it’s right..

    The NAM is overdoing it. As walt said use the HRRR at this point.

    Looking at the HRRR it seems the worst of it in CT will be from Danbury-Meriden on East. The coast stays in the 50-55pmh gust range. Selfishly I hope it’s right.

    Sleet line is rapidly moving east. So at this point forward it’s just a matter of how much precip we can get. Good luck to us all!

    2-3 inches maybe on the backside? Just seems the models support this convective like junk where we can’t sustain a good period of Snow moving forward.

    Yep. This storm seems like a classic reminder on why you want the low on the BM and not sitting off Trenton NJ.

    Not shocked look at the radar there! The band is just sitting on them.

    Man I’ve avoided sleet more than I thought I would tonight. And I think I’m in the clear now. I just need the damn precip. Idk I have a bad feeling this convective type stuff won’t bring the goods though.

    Looks like the sleet line is rapidly deteorating in NNJ to my eyes. Could be a sign that the low has stopped its northward movement? Now we just need some precip.

    Sleet is gone but the radar looks pretty bleh

    Never mind got some pinging here now that the mega band went through. Mostly snow but definitely some pinging as well.

    That dry slot in NYC is hideous. Makes me wonder if I should just get some sleep now and pray it fills in in a few hours.

    Looks like sleet is pushing into the Ridgefield area now. But oddly enough I’m still all snow, the sleet has been mostly moving north but not east.

    F*** that band is the heaviest I’ve seen today yet it’s moving through so quickly. South of me looks rather paltry at the moment too.

    Just noticed I got some fat flakes mixed in here. Usually a sign of a changeover but CC looks good.
