  1. After you previous post I got a screen grab from Kevin and the text, "Legro is a fantastic met. Best of the best. Snow and severe" Someone's excited...
  2. I noticed that on the NAM and GFS. Nice look for areas that can chill the boundary layer sufficiently.
  3. Euro still colder at 925mb than NAM/GFS. Would like to see the latter tick a bit colder but it's definitely a decent look.
  4. This could be a rare upslope event into Litchfield Co CT. It's tough to get it without a good synoptic assist.
  5. To be honest, we get so many bad snowfall reports in the media (some intentional, some not) it's easy to toss the outliers at first.
  6. Nice! Where in Scotland? Josh wants to head up there to take some pictures of the jackpot zone.
  7. Hard to figure out where that western band will setup and pivot. It's definitely scooting east pretty good. Does it continue or does it slow and pivot? Snow is picking up here for sure... probably close to moderate.
  8. Only about 1.5" here so far. We were stuck in that subsidence zone earlier. Blah.
  9. I just saw this thread. I was in Sullivan's Island, SC and the experience was beyond incredible. I blogged about it here ---> http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/weather/stories/Solar-Eclipse-2017---What-an-Incredible-Experience-441577713.html Glad to see so many others had a great time. Onto 2024!
  10. Sort of answers its own question. There's always a snow hole from KGINX to KGON.
  11. Remember the 24"-36" NYC got in this years January blizzard?
  12. I wonder how much liquid BDL managed.
  13. Hartland CT is probably the best spot. Norfolk is good too but real estate is very expensive there.
  14. Yeah I recall an event in the late 90s where we had accumulating fluff just east of HVN on a WSW wind.
