  1. Why hello there good sir
  2. Soundings are close at DCA at 96 on 12z CMC, but it is still snow
  3. Snow starts slightly later on 12z CMC in DC metro... around midnight
  4. Yes. Pivotalweather.com has them every 3 hours
  5. The soundings never go above -0.5 in the column
  6. Quite the temp gradient on the 12z UKIE right after the storm; on monday night, DCA is 22 while CHO is 3 Same thing Tuesday night... DCA 27, EZF 11, CHO -5
  7. For DC metro? It's mainly day event on Monday. Snow starts around daybreak... ends in the evening. Temperatures in the mid 20s
  8. Not as strong as the 12z GFS, but CMC also has something cooking day 9
  9. @Terpeast @MillvilleWx Question - 12z CMC shows sleet nearby. However, checking the column/soundings, only the 750mb to around 800mb level (maybe 825mb) goes above 0c. EZF at 120 has it around 1C. Is that enough to wreck snow accumulation? The warm zone is so small that I don't think it would make a big deal?
  10. Also note the warm layer on the 12z cmc is 750 to 800 level. Everything else in the column is good
  11. Ripping snow DC metro at 120... but ping ping ping isn't far away
  12. Mod snow for most of c into n va at 114 on 12z cmc. Icy mess as you get to CHO
